We remember the actor Imran Abbas from some of his most famous drama serials like Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Akbari Asghari, Dil-e-Muztar, Alvida and Mera Naam Yusuf Hai. We also know his from the Bollywood movie with Bipasha Basu that apparently got him to lose fans and following. People criticized him for being an absolute decent family guy to suddenly taking up the role of an explicit lover in a Bollywood movie.
We don’t often see such criticism hurled at a male actor but this time we did. It showed what people loved him for slipping away in a Bollywood ticket. The truth is, they are actors. They get to play all kinds of roles. And if the audience loses sight from the real person, looking at the performance they put up, it becomes disappointing. But that’s a separate debate.
This time, we see the actor express his first love in a casual talk with Samina Pirzada on her show.

Imran Abbas’ first love
In the show, as Samina Pirzada customarily would, asks Imran Abbad about his first love. To which, the actor replies with decency with a grim undertone. He started hesitantly talking about how his first love was. And when he talks about it, he doesn’t say that it was a requited kind. He says that it isn’t even necessary to have the person you fall in love with, to be with you for the rest of your life. He also goes on to detail on the experience that he had. “I still love her,” he says.
Pain and rejection
Then he goes to explain how love teaches one to be strong, empathetic, and kind. He says that if one doesn’t fall in love, he never experiences pain. You can’t be a good artist, a good person until you have pain in your heart. Then he also addresses his experience to be more of a defeat than a success. He doesn’t think that getting your love and falling in love go hand in hand. He explicitly says how he still loves her. And then admits that he never fell in love after it.
Imran Abbas – a talented actor, a kind human
Imran Abbas is not just a talented actor. He is also a beautiful human, as one can tell from this video. Someone with great empathy and love in his heart. We often see him posting optimistic and bitter-sweet images on his Instagram that further give us an insight into the heart of this amazing man.
