The Sindh Department of Education has officially declared the winter vacation schedule for all schools, colleges, and universities. Starting from December 22 to December 31, this winter break promises a well-deserved rest for students across the province.
The announcement was made by the education department spokesperson after a meeting of the annual steering committee. The secretary of education confirmed that both private and government educational institutions would resume regular activities on January 1, 2024.
In the middle of some speculations on social media about possible changes in the dates, the Sindh administration clarified that the schedule would proceed as planned. The decision was part of a discussion led by the Sindh acting education minister, who heads the lower committee of the provincial steering committee.
In addition to revealing the winter vacation schedule, officials shared essential dates related to the academic calendar. As per the updated schedule, schools will commence the new academic year on April 15, 2024, and colleges will initiate their academic activities on August 1, 2024.
