Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, caretaker Prime Minister, visited the Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS) on Monday.
A warm welcome to the Prime Minister was extended by Deputy Chairman of the LUMS Board of Governors Abdul Razzaq Dawood and other members of the academic staff.
A briefing on the ongoing academic activities at the university was given to Prime Minister Kakar, who also held an interactive session with the students.

He said youth are full of renewed energy and are a source of stimulation for seniors. Several students interrogated PM Kakar about his motivation to visit in an inquisitive manner during the interactive session.
There were those who expressed regret over his late arrival and others who cheered him on for asking tough questions. Prime Minister Kakar, however, remained composed and did not appear bothered by tough questions from students.
Twittter and other sites trended his visit soon after, and viral clips are spreading like wildfire.
The students discussed a number of urgent issues, including the delayed elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The date of the election, according to Prime Minister Kakar, was set by Parliament, not by him. He gave the students the assurance that Parliament was in charge of this matter.
