Every year, Pakistan celebrates ‘DefenceDay’ in a befitting manner on September 6. On this day, the entire nation pays rich tributes to its shaheeds and ghazis who defended the geographical as well as ideological borders of the motherland courageously in September 1965. On this Defence Day ISPR releases a new song paying tribute to Pakistani heroes.
Defence Day, also widely known as Youm-e-Difa is one of the proudest moments for Pakistan as a nation. Celebrating it every year keeps reminding the new generations about how the armed forces of Pakistan, solidly backed by the entire nation, had defeated the Indian invaders.
In addition to this, September 6 reminds us of the matchless sacrifices rendered by our armed forces. Not only that but also the unprecedented unity demonstrated by the nation that repulsed the enemy attack and safeguarded the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the homeland.
ISPR releases new song to honor Pakistan’s heroes
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army, has released a new song ahead of Pakistan’s Defence Day to commemorate the services of those who sacrificed their lives to shield the country.
Pakistan army has paid a tribute to martyrs and heroes with the release of the song Har Ghari Tayyar Kamran. According to ISPR, the song is a remake of an old patriotic song of the ’80s, by the same name.
One of Pakistan’s top melody voices; Ali Hamza, Ali Azmat, Ali Noor and Asim Azhar have collaborated for the Defence and Martyrs’ Day. In this song by ISPR they paid tribute on this Defence Day of 2020 to the services rendered by Pakistan armed forces heroes and its operational readiness.
A sneak peek was shared on the official Twitter handle of DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar who paid accolades to the heroes of the country.

In the music video, there is a showcase of the sacrifices of Pakistan as a nation in fighting terrorism. As well as the evolution of our armed forces as a cutting edge military structure; in a class of its own. In addition to this, it also encompasses stylized shots of the singers patriotically supporting their heroes.
Clearly, the renowned music maestro Ali Hamza aka Noori has put his heart and soul into this song. He has given a contemporary spin to its composition. Moreover, the song was originally sung by Khalid Waheed and written by Zafar Ullah Poshni.
Pakistan’s brave jawans never think twice to sacrifice lives for the motherland. Lieutenant Nasir Khalid is one such Pakistani soldier, who embraced martyrdom in an explosion in Waziristan recently.
The nation is all set to celebrate the Defence Day of Pakistan in a befitting manner on September 6. On this memorable day, bazaars, and streets are decorated with Pakistani flags, as well as pictures of heroes and martyrs of armed forces. The national anthem and national songs are also echoed countrywide to show the affection with great heroes of jawans of the armed forces.
