DG ISPR confirms Pakistan’s successful training launch of Shaheen-I ballistic missile!
While India is globally famous for its failed missions and false strikes, Pakistan is tasting success in every missile testing operation. Previously, in August as well, Pakistan Army successfully tested its ‘Ghaznavi’ ballistic missile with a range of 290 kilometers. Earlier today, DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor, once again, shared the news of Pakistan’s successful training launch of ‘Shaheen-I’ ballistic missile on his official Twitter.
“Pakistan successfully conducted training launch of Short-Range Ballistic Missile (SSBM) Shaheen-I”, says DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor!

Along with the missile details, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) tweeted about the huge achievement. Asif Ghafoor’s tweet read, “Pakistan successfully conducted training launch of SSBM Shaheen-1 capable of delivering all types of warheads up to a range of 650 KMs.”
The launch was aimed at testing the operational readiness of Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) ensuring Pakistan’s credible minimum deterrence”, he maintained. Specifically, the Shaheen-I surface-to-surface missile has a range of about 650 kilometers. Moreover, the missile holds the capacity of carrying both nuclear and conventional warheads.
The Pakistan Army’s Strategic Forces gathered appreciation!
Moreover, in the training launch, the Army’s strategic forces displayed esteemed potential in handling the missile system. As per the military’s media wing’s statement, “Troops of the Army’s strategic forces displayed a high standard of proficiency in handling potent missile system”.
Soon after the news got public, Pakistanis can’t stop praising their Army’s efforts and the patriotism is wide awake. According to media reports, the Pakistan Army conducted the training launch in response to India’s recent missile testing. Last Sunday, Pakistan arch-rival India conducted its first night trial of Agni-II which is a nuclear-capable intermediate-range ballistic missile.
The training launch was witnessed by several ‘important’ state personalities!
Pakistan’s training launch of Shaheen-I was attended by several army officials, engineers, and scientists. As quoted by DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor, “The training launch was witnessed by Director General Strategic Plans Division, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Chairman NESCOM, senior officers from Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists and engineers”.
Similarly, the Pakistan Army had conducted a successful training launch of the Shaheen-II ballistic missile. Earlier this year, in September, Major General Asif Ghafoor called out India over ‘another’ failed mission.
