India defeated Pakistan by 228 runs in the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, winning their biggest one-day international (ODI) match against their rivals.
Pakistan’s total score was 128-8 after 32 overs while trying to reach a goal of 357 runs. Due to injury, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf did not come out to bat, and just four of Pakistan’s batsmen scored in double figures.

The worst batsman for Pakistan was Fakhar Zaman, who made 27 runs off of 50 balls and led the team in scoring.
Agha Salman and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 23 runs apiece in the meanwhile.
Hardik Pandya bowled Skipper Babar Azam out without allowing him to add to his previous total of 10 runs.
In one-day internationals, this was India’s largest win over Pakistan in terms of runs scored. In the meantime, Pakistan suffered their third-heaviest loss in a one-day international competition against any team.
India scored 356-2 in their allotted 50 overs while batting first, and Pakistan did not lose a wicket on the reserve day of the match.
With the assistance of nine fours and three sixes, Kohli amassed 122 runs in 94 balls to remain undefeated at the crease.
In the meantime, Rahul was still not out after scoring 111 runs in 106 balls, which included 14 fours.
