Zaka Ashraf, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, and Salman Naseer, chief operating officer, introduced the World Cup 2023 kit for the Pakistan national team today in Lahore.

The uniform is called the “Star Nation Jersey,” and it has a star and the flag of Pakistan on the breast side of the jersey.

Ashraf, who was invited to speak at the event, reflected on the significance of the shirt by stating that it embodies Pakistan’s tenacity and passion, given that the team is now ranked first in the ODI format.
“In order to preserve our heritage, we have continued to wear the star and flag of Pakistan on our chests. According to what he had to say, “I am hopeful that our team, who is already ranked number one in ODIs, will win the World Cup in India.”
On October 6, Pakistan will open their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands in Hyderabad. The match will take place. On October 14, a matchup that has been eagerly anticipated will take place in Ahmedabad between them and their fiercest rivals in India.

- October 6 – vs Netherlands in Hyderabad
- October 10 – vs Sri Lanka in Hyderabad

- October 20 – vs Australia in Bengaluru
- October 23 – vs Afghanistan in Chennai
- October 27 – vs South Africa in Chennai
- October 31 – vs Bangladesh in Kolkata
- November 4 – vs New Zealand Bengaluru (Day match)
- November 11 – vs England in Kolkata
The day matches will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time (PST), but all of the remaining matches will be day-night games and will begin at 01:30 p.m. PST.
In the event that Pakistan advances to the semifinals, their match will take place in Kolkata.
Should India advance to the semifinals, their matches will take place in Mumbai, unless they are scheduled to face Pakistan; in that case, the matches will take place in Kolkata.
The Cricket World Cup will use a round-robin structure, in which all countries will compete against each other throughout a total of 45 league matches.
The top four teams will earn a spot in the semifinals, which will be contested in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16. These matches will take place in Mumbai and Kolkata, respectively. The reserve days will be used for both the semi-finals and the final.
