Najibullah Zadran, who bats in the middle order for Afghanistan, ruled out and will not be able to participate in the One-Day International (ODI) series that Afghanistan will play against Pakistan beginning today.
Unfortunately, Zadran had to leave the show because of a knee injury he got during production.
Najibullah Zadran Ruled Out
The Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) announced the news earlier today on its social media platforms, stating that Zadran would be unable to take part in any of the matches due to an injury he sustained earlier in the series.

Today, in Hambantota, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are slated to play the opening one-day international (ODI) match of their series against one other.
Shahid Kamal Replaces Najibullah Zadran in Pakistan ODIs
Due to a knee injury, Afghanistan’s main batter Najibullah Zadran will not be able to participate in any of the one-day international matches that will take place between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Afghanistan Cricket Board made the announcement via various social media platforms. Najibullah Zadran has been replaced in the Afghanistan team by Shahid Kamal ahead of the One-Day International series between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Najibullah Zadran is a one-day international player for Afghanistan who possesses a great deal of expertise. The left-handed batsman has represented Afghanistan in 88 One-Day International matches up until this point. He finished 2013 with runs that averaged over 30, which is an impressive feat. In one-day internationals, he also has a century and 15 half-centuries to his name.
Left-handed batsman Shahid Kamal has represented Afghanistan in one test match and one one-day international match up until this point. In the ODI game that he participated in, he managed to score one run. Shahid Kamal is an all-rounder, therefore in addition to bowling right-arm off-spin, he can also bowl left-arm off-spin.
