Babar Azam impressed Ramiz Raja so much that he offered to ‘marry him’.

Babar Azam hit an impressive century for Colombo Strikers against Galle Titans at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Titans batted first and set Strikers 189 runs.
In reply. Babar started Strikers’ innings with Pathum Nissanka and shared 111 runs. The Pakistan skipper hit 104 runs on 59 deliveries with eight fours and five sixes.
The latest Pakistan-Sri Lanka Test series saw Raja return as a pundit.
The former opener was elected PCB chairman for three years in September 2021, taking a break from commentary.
Raja and other PCB members were fired after one year and replaced with a 14-member management committee chaired by Najam Sethi.
Raja was the fourth former Pakistan cricketer to manage the PCB, after Abdul Hafeez Kardar (1972-1977), Javed Burki (1994-1995), and Ijaz Butt (2008-2011).
From 1984 until 1997, Raja played 255 international matches and scored 8,674 runs as Pakistan’s 18th Test and 12th ODI captain.
The 60-year-old was PCB CEO from 2003 to 2004, represented Pakistan on the ICC Chief Executives’ Committee, and is on the MCC World Cricket Committee.
He is the voice of Pakistan cricket and a prominent broadcaster for key cricket networks worldwide.
