Pakistan cricket team looks filled with little beef between current and former players. A few weeks ago, Haris Rauf shared his views during an interview regarding the favorite pacer he prefers Mohammad Amir or Wahab Riaz.
Undoubtedly, Haris Rauf picked Wahab Riaz and shocked everyone. After a long time, Mohammed Amir responds to Haris Rauf’s statement at a media conference.
Mohammad Amir has been in the limelight for the past couple of months for his undivided statements. He previously targeted the skipper Babar Azam and called him an average batter which negatively captured everyone’s attention.
Later he cleared the air and stated that I called him the best batsman.
Now he’s back with a strong statement and shared his straightforward view on Haris Rauf’s statement.
Mohammad Amir Responds to Haris Rauf’s Statement
The 31-year-old drew a comparison between his adoration for the renowned left-arm bowler Wasim Akram and how much personal preferences influence people’s perceptions.
“I take this thing positively because everyone has their personal favorite, just like my favorite bowler is Wasim Akram. No matter how many great left-arm bowlers come, Wasim Akram will always be my favorite.
That doesn’t mean I dislike other bowlers. Wahab might be Haris’s personal favorite, and I think if his opinion matters, then there’s nothing wrong with it,” Amir said.
Mohammad Amir has been Pakistan’s one of finest bowlers who gave precious moments to his fans and especially his spell against India in Champions Trophy 2017.
But his sudden retirement shocked everyone, he even released a statement in which Mohammad Amir states “I am available”.
