Pakistani skipper Babar Azam breaks another world record in the One Day International (ODI) to dominate the cricket world. Yes! The record breaker, Babar Azam has accomplished another milestone of the fastest 5000 runs in the ODI history.
During the fourth ODI match between Pakistan and New Zealand this amazing achievement Babar conquered.
He scored the fastest 5000 runs in ODI history in just 97 innings, in the second spot South African Hashim Amla was holding the position until now.
Here are the fastest batters to score 5,000 ODI runs, followed by Hashim Amla (101), Viv Richards (114), Virat Kohli (114), and David Warner (115).
Babar Azam Breaks Another Record in ODI History
Babar Azam is not slowing down the way he’s achieving milestone after milestone and exhibiting his true class.
2022 was already one of the best years for the skipper, as he won the second consecutively ICC ODI Player of the Year award.
Last week, he also became the second-fastest Asian batter to score 12000 international runs, just falling short of the record held by Kohli.
