It at last happened! Pakistani actor Usman Mukhtar has tied the knot in an intimate nikkah ceremony in Islamabad. Were you done with all the wedding trolling Mukhtar? Hm…Hm! LOL. We feel for you and are so happy now.
Mukhtar is one of the most promising actors Pakistan has today. He recently won hearts with his performance as Dr. Haris in the drama serial Sabaat.
Announcing the news on social media, Mukhtar shared some pictures from the nikkah ceremony and introduced his wife happily to the world.
“Dear World – I married this amazing woman today in a small socially distant gathering,” wrote Mukhtar in an Instagram post.
“Zunaira Inam Khan. Thank you for making me the luckiest man on earth. I haven’t felt such happiness in a very long time. You’ve stood by me in the moments I was down and amplified the happy moments. Been my rock and my support. I am blessed.”
Mukhtar also added how he had to arrange his nikkah earlier due to possible lockdown from April 1.
“Our big day was supposed to be on 2nd April but due to the lockdown restrictions from 1st April, we had to pull it back. We were tested and followed SOPs. We both need your duas [prayers] and blessings.”
Mukhtar & shadi trolling!
Mukhtar became Pakistan’s new-found crush as Altamash from drama serial Anaa in 2019. The actor got brutally trolled when both the opposite characters from his Anaa and Sabaat (Naimal Khawar and Sarah Khan) were hooked. Khawar tied the knot with Hamza Ali Abbasi while Khan later married Falak Shabbir.
However, later Mukhtar revealed that he too had found some special during ‘Rewind with Samia Peerzada’.
“She is not from the industry, she is doing her own things and she is doing a pretty good job. She is very focused on her work and whats she wants to do and that’s I think a very good thing,” Mukhtar told Samia Peerzada.
Well, the wait is finally over for Mukhtar and his fans. We wish the happy couple all the best for their new life ahead.
