Pakistan contains all forms of tourist spots. From great urban buildings to mighty mountains. In the Northside of Pakistan, you can find glorious rivers and beautiful/luscious greenery. Not only that, but Pakistan is also home to a lot of beautiful animals that are a sight to behold. From gigantic elephants to elegant cats. Pakistan is a one-stop shop for tourists worldwide. It has the best food, places, and people. But for every well-known hidden tourist spots in Pakistan has which you see on every top 10 lists on the internet. There is a little known tourist spot that you must visit. No matter if you live in Pakistan or are just visiting the following 10 places are a must see before dying.

1. Mohenjo Daro

Mohenjo Daro is one of the most beautiful, interesting and historic places you will ever visit. It is something right out of an adventure video game. The fact that it is a city from the Indus civilization is the least of its exciting background. The architecture of the place, the insignias and the carvings on the walls, everything is so old and historic that it makes you want to be an archeologist.
Even though it is a lost city, it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. It was built 4500 years ago and is located in Sindh. So, if you ever get feel like being Indiana Jones do visit Mohenjo Daro.
2. Hingol National Park

Nope, this is not the Grand Canyon nor is it the Meteorite Crater in Arizona. The place in the above picture is Hingol National Park which is located in Balochistan on the Makran coast. Although the picture is breathtaking, it doesn’t do justice to the place. It is surprising how only a few people know of this place. Even though it has two naturally made moments called “The Princess of Hope” and “The Pakistani Sphinx”.
3. Khewra Salt Mines

The heading and picture probably took you back to your secondary school’s geography books. Khewra Salt Mines Pakistan’s oldest and largest salt mine. Also, it is the second largest salt mine in the world. You probably already know that it is located north of Pind Dadan Khan in Balochistan. You can get cool figurines, sculptures, keychains, and other souvenirs. All of which are made of salt.

4. Keenjhar Lake

For all of you water lovers out there Keenjhar lake is perfect. Whether you are into boating, fishing, exploring tombs or bird watching all of it can be done in Keenjhar lake. It is the second largest freshwater lake in Pakistan. And it is a favorable habitat for migatory birds like; Geese, Herons, Ducks, Flamingos, Terns, Gulls, Cormorants and there are many more to list, just think lots of birds, okay!
It is Located in the Thatta District in Sindh and swimming, picnic and fishing are the main attraction of the place. Whatever you decide to do there, it will all be a lot of fun!
5. Astola Island

If you said that the picture is probably from a beach in Bali, well you are wrong. This is Astola Island and is located in Pakistani. The island can easily be accessed from the port of Pasni in Balochistan. It is just a 5-hour boat ride to the Island. Once there you can hang out, make a fire, have something to eat and just enjoy the beauty of the Island. It is super cheap and super peaceful, both for your wallet and your mind!!
6. Moola Chotok

Moola Chotok is a hidden Ravine located in Khuzdar, Balochistan. It is a beautiful place because of a number of waterfalls and rivers that meet the Moola river can be seen here. The ‘hidden’ part of its description is accurate because only a handful of people actually know of this place’s existence.
7. Sonmiani Beach

The people of Karachi are in luck. You dont need to take two to three days off from work to visit this beach. All you need is a weekend and a will to have a good time. Sonmiani Beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Karachi and is known for its clear blue water. Unlike other beaches in Karachi like turtle and paradise which are well-known. Sonmiani isn’t, which makes this a quaint spot filled with beauty and peace.
8. Gorakh Hills

Gorakh Hills is situated near Dadu in Sindh, so you guys can probably tell why this is on the list. When you hear tourist spots Sindh rarely pops into your head. But being located 5,689 feet above sea level it is a sight to behold. Gorakh Hills is commonly referred to as the Murree of Sindh and it is the right title to have. It takes about 8-10 hours to reach Gorakh. And the weather is chill and moderate unlike the normal scorching weather of Sindh, so nice weekend retreat is a must.
9. Bhit Khori

Bhit Khori which some people pronounced BIT-KHO-RI, isn’t the name of the latest cryptocurrency. In fact, it is a deserted place 45 kilometers from Hawks Bay, so again people of Karachi here is another win. Moving on, when you go to Bhit Khori make sure to have a DSLR because your Instagram would never forgive you if you miss the chance to click some snaps over there. From the beautiful mountains to the amazing beach, it is in all ways Instagram worthy.
It takes about two and a half hours to drive from Karachi to Bhit Khori. Which in itself is quite fun. So, it can be like a fun little road trip for you and your gang. Whatever you do, dont leave Karachi before viewing this hidden GEM.

10. Soon Valley

Soon Valley more like why didn’t I know of this SOONER! Okay, bad joke sorry. But dont let my terrible jokes cloud your judgment of this place. It is extremely beautiful. Located in the Khushab district of Punjab. It is home to many Lakes and Gardens dating back to the Mughal Era.
