A massive fire took out at a perfume factory in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, on Monday afternoon. Four Emirates’ joint Civil Defense teams worked to put out the fire.

In a coordinated effort, Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense team members were joined by firefighters from the civil defense teams in Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, and Sharjah.
Unsettling video from the incident showed a heavily damaged area of the plant, necessitating the cooperation of several fire units to contain the blaze. According to reports, the cooling process has started.
The Umm Al Quwain Crown Prince, Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, commended the emirate’s civil defense troops for their courageous efforts in putting out the fire at the facility in the Umm Al Thaoub Industrial Area.
In addition, the Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, and Sharjah agencies’ fast mobilization to contain the fire and avoid any human losses was acknowledged by the Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain.
The Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, and Sharjah agencies quickly arrived to put out the fire and avert any human deaths, and the Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain also expressed his appreciation for their timely reaction.
In addition to Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, the Deputy Chairman of the Umm Al Quwain Executive Council, Colonel Dr. Salem Hamad bin Hamdha, Director of the Department of Civil Defence in Umm Al Quwain, and Colonel Khaled Al Shamsi, Deputy Director General of the Ajman Civil Defence Department, the Crown Prince delivered these remarks while visiting the affected site.
