It’s been more than a day, U.S. Titanic tour submarine is missing with few people. Ships and planes have been dispatched to search for the submarine.
The submarine was carrying tourists to explore the wreckage of the Titanic, officials said. There was one pilot and four passengers on board and the vessel had the capacity to submerge for 96 hours.
Up till now, it wasn’t clear whether it touched the surface or was still underwater. As per the report, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son were also on board.
U.S. Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger told the reporters, “U.S. and Canadian ships and planes have swarmed the area about 900 miles (1,450 km) east of Cape Cod, some dropping sonar buoys that can monitor to a depth of 13,000 feet (3,962 meters).”
