Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid has arrived in Islamabad for a six-day visit aimed at strengthening the lasting and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. A significant moment will be his leadership of the Friday prayer at the iconic Faisal Mosque.
During his visit, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid has planned meetings with important figures, including the President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, and other high-ranking officials, underscoring the diplomatic significance of his presence.
Upon his arrival, notable individuals such as Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Acting Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi, Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, along with several other senior officials, warmly greeted Imam-e-Kaaba.
Separately, Acting Education Minister Madad Ali Sindh held a meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid.
On this occasion, the acting education minister said: “Because of the holy cities of Medina and Makkah, Pakistan has great love and devotion for Saudi Arabia”.
“Reaching Pakistan is like visiting your own house. They want to see Pakistan as the state of Medina,” Imam-e-Kaaba said.
