For the first time ever, the eighth season of the PSL 8 Opening Ceremony will begin in Multan, according to the News.

The report states that the PSL 8’s opening ceremony and first game would take place on February 13 in Multan. Initial matches will be held concurrently in Multan and Karachi.
PSL 8 matches will be split between Karachi and Lahore starting on February 26. Rawalpindi will host its allotted number of PSL 8 games in March.
The report added that teams would begin congregating on February 9. From February 9 on, practise sessions will be scheduled.
This year, Multan will have the honour of hosting the PSL opening ceremony for the first time. Only Karachi had ever played host to the PSL opening ceremony in Pakistan.
The tournament will be held in four cities: Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, from February 13 to March 19.
The drafting of PSL 8 teams was held on December 15, but it should be remembered that player retention announcements were made on November 11.
