World Cup is a tournament where the host showcases their culture, tradition, and heritage, and welcomes the world with open arms.
Because of security reasons the host country India canceled the opening ICC men’s cricket World Cup 2023. But as usual, the “The Captains Day” event was held according to the schedule. All the captains including Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam were also there.
During event, all the participating nations came together and talked about what to expect in the star-studded tournament. As the progresses, former cricketer Ravi Shastri asked a question to Babar Azam,” How was the biryani in Hyderabad?” Babar replied to Shastri in a very funny way: “Sau baari bata chuke hai (answered it 100 times).”
ICC also posted a video on social media platforms and asked to the Men in greens to choose between Hyderabadi Biryani where Babar Azam came up with an interesting answer.
“It is the specialty. The Hyderabadi Biryani! And I think it is an 8 out of 10! It is lightly spicy though.”
Even Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan who also led his team in PSL, also gave a hilarious note on Biryani.
“We are eating it daily, and perhaps that is why we are getting a bit slow (Laugh),”
The Pakistan team arrived in Hyderabad, India, on Wednesday 27 September, and play their first match against Netherland on 6 October. All the best wishes to team Pakistan for the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023
