However, where there will be an opportunity, there will also be a loss after AI. So people from different sectors are worried about their professions. Writers from Hollywood protest because many of them predict their positions are debatable.
For the first time in 15 years, it is one of the longest protests that began on May 2, 2023 and ended on September 27, 2023. During this period all the scripted productions have paused.
Hollywood writers demanding to preserve pay and job security outside major studios and streamers braced for a long fight at the outset of a strike that immediately forced them to pause the late-night scripted show.

Writers Agreed to End the Five-Month Strike
Hollywood writers are officially ending their months strike, after stakeholders approved an agreement made with the Alliance Of Motion Picture and Television Producers and sent the new contract to union members for approval.
The Writers Guild Of America (WGA) said, “Writers would be free to work starting after midnight local time, while an approval vote takes place on a new three-year contract with Hollywood studios that won a concession on writer’s payment, terms with streaming shows, and use of artificial intelligence.
Now it’s up to the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) to settle its strike with the studios.
