Ainy belongs to a modern and forward-looking family. She pursued her bachelor’s in marketing from the prestigious McGill University in Canada. She started her career in an advertising agency but soon landed in the glitzy showbiz world. However, coming to the entertainment industry was not an easy task. Then it was the staunch support of her maternal aunt, Azra Mohyeddin, a veteran actress and wife of the legendary Zia Mohyeddin, which kept Ainy sail through difficult storms during her career. She was always under her wings and guidance making it easier for her parents to accept her acting career.
On 22nd February, 2014, she tied the knot with her beau Faris Rahman. Faris has no connection with the showbiz industry. He is an expat who has been living abroad for at least 20 years. He belongs to the finance industry. Though they both belong to entirely different worlds, Ainy accredits her husband for his endless support even after her marriage. She often regards juggling between her career and family life as difficult. It is only her husband’s and in-law’s support that lets her accomplish her dreams. Especially because the work schedule and time requirements of the showbiz industry are so unusual, they require a lot of patience and endurance from the spouse.
